Haras de La Mellerie - Riders' Lodge Médoc

Pour créer l'élevage familial du Haras de La Mellerie, With his and his family's arrival in the Médoc in 1984, Pascal de La Mare has decided to create there, in the fields and woods on the edge of the little fishing harbour Port de Richard, the family stud Haras de La Mellerie. It is situated far from traffic and noise on the  penninsula of the Medoc winecountry between the pine forests of the Atlantic coast and the Gironde estuary.

Pascal has always been a passionate horseman and has specialized, from the very beginning, in the breeding of leisure horses for alround riding pleasure, long-distance riding and in the harness with horse-drawn  carriages.
